Welcome to the OCLS Health & Medical eGuide, where we hope that you will find all the answers to your medical questions. We have many resources to use at the Orange County Library System as well as online.
If you see a resource that you're interested in, there's no need to stop your reading to look it up or write it down. You can simply add the resource to your Links Basket and either access them or print them out once you're finished. There are too many good resources to let one slip, and the Links Basket will keep them all together for you in one place. A wealth of valuable information is waiting for you at the Library, so take a peek and get the knowledge you need.

In the first chapter, we will focus on general medical resources as well as information for finding medical professionals. The books on this subject may be found in the Reference Collection in the 610s.
The second chapter concentrates on an overview of resources about drugs. Books on this topic may be found in the 615s.
Resources that provide information about diseases make up the content of our third chapter. The 616s are the area in the Reference Collection to find books on this subject.
Our fourth and final chapter is a case study that provides practical examples of how you can use a selection of resources covered in this Medical eGuide as we follow Fred on his quest for medical information.
